Northwest
Connecticut Sportsman's Council delegates gathered at Council
Headquarters this afternoon to conduct the raffle drawing
for the NWCSC ATV and several runner-up prizes. Several area
sportsmen also stopped by to view the drawing.
All
outstanding tickets and stubs were gathered and accounted
for during the past week. Ticket stub return was determined
to be 100% of all tickets sold. All stubs were detached and
crumpled. They were then bagged and mixed, after which the
bag was sealed until approximately 1PM today when it was opened
and all tickets were transferred to the NWCSC raffle basket.
The basket was rotated intermittently for one hour. At 2PM,
Council Delegate Jerry Ciarcia conducted the final rotation
and mixing of stubs.
Council
Vice-President Jason Marshall was designated as the drawing
official and Council President Chris Marino oversaw all procedures
and took pictures of the drawing. It was announced to all
present that we would draw the grand prize first, followed
by 2nd, 3rd and fourth prize winners. The drawing was witnessed
by Notary Public Philip Mauriello and all winning stubs were
